When you book an appointment you'll be asked for some information, including the passport applicant's name and date of birth. You'll also need to provide contact details in case we need to get in touch about the appointment.
Information you enter online will be temporarily and securely held in line with our cookie policy (opens new window) so that you can progress through and complete your online booking.
Once you've paid online, your information will be stored for 6 months from the date of your appointment. This is to help us process your booking and deal with any enquiries.
The payment part of this service is provided by Worldpay in line with our terms and conditions (opens new window). HM Passport Office doesn't collect or store any of your financial information.
We welcome your views on this service. We invite feedback through links in the website and post-application surveys. We may also contact you for research purposes.
We'll use what you tell us to improve this and related services.
